EDGA
EDGA (formerly known as the European Disabled Golf Association) was formed in 2000, and is an international not-for-profit organisation; their mission is to help people with impairment to play, succeed and enjoy golf. It advises organisations around the world, including 28 national golf federations, on tournaments, training and services to golfers with disability.
As a global organisation, EDGA is uniquely positioned to promote the development of golf for people with physical, intellectual or sensory impairment, to positively influence public perception and to offer relevant advice to golf’s governing authorities.
The sponsorship of EDGA extends our ambitious partnership strategy within golf and supports the firm's wider corporate and social responsibility programme.
In 2019 we will support a number of EDGA events, their ambitious plan to get 500,000 new players with a disability to try golf for the first time, and their longer term goal of getting disability golf accepted as an official sport at the Paralympic Games.
