Biography
Alan is the Glasgow office managing partner and leads the team of 80 staff in our Wellington Street office. He also leads the audit practice in the West of Scotland.
Alan serves a portfolio of large and fast growing companies, including our listed clients in Scotland and a number of International Groups.
He maintains clients in the retail, manufacturing, healthcare and leisure and hospitality sectors.
Alan qualified as a chartered accountant in 1998 joining a Big Four firm in that year. During his time there he led the audits on FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 international groups. He joined Baker Tilly (RSM) as a partner in 2009 and has supported the continued growth of our practice in Scotland, particularly in relation to our work with companies seeking additional growth finance or a capital market listing.
