Charlotte Clifford Evans

Biography

I am passionate about tax operations and, as an adviser and an in house tax director, developed tax & transfer pricing strategies, to drive efficiency in tax governance and manage tax risk proactively.

I lead RSM’s tax risk governance network and my primary client focus is large and international. They will fall within HMRC’s large business regime (senior accounting officer, UK tax strategy, uncertain tax positions, CbCR, etc).

I have a particular interest in business transformation from the angle of the effectiveness of the tax function and post deal integration.

Outside of work I love to travel and in 2014 I managed to combine this with working. I spent 2 years in Johannesburg on secondment with a Big 4 firm, advising MNEs on doing business in Africa. I enjoyed spending time in South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe.

I have toured overseas as a long range target rifle markswoman and have represented Great Britain and England.

I love to ski with my family when time allows.
