Biography
Kevin O’Connor is the Executive Chairman at RSM UK. He took up this role in April 2020, when he was appointed to our Board. He was previously our Regional Managing Partner for Yorkshire and the North East.
Kevin joined RSM in 1999 as a tax partner at our Leeds office, and became the office’s managing partner in 2002. He then added responsibility for our operations in the rest of Yorkshire and the North East to his remit, as well as becoming our national Head of Tax.
Under Kevin’s leadership, our business in Yorkshire and the North East grew into a £40m turnover operation that employs around 500 people in the region.
"I’m a chartered accountant by profession and continue to provide specialist tax advice to clients. Equally important to me is leading a team of motivated individuals to achieve the best outcomes for our firm and clients, and this is even more important now that I’m Chairman."
Kevin is a fellow of the ICAEW and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his four children and two grandchildren, and is a keen golfer.
