Richard Bartlett-Rawlings

Biography

Richard is an audit partner in Milton Keynes with experience of working with many automotive businesses in the manufacturing and finance sectors.

Starting his career as a mechanic in 1998 Richard was fortunate enough to spend time working to prepare the chassis of the 1998 Ford Escort World Rally Car.

Since retraining to become an accountant in 2005, Richard has continued to enjoy his enthusiasm for all things automotive through providing audit and advisory services to a range of clients in the sector, whether it be discussions and studies on residual values to auditing tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers into the OEM supply chain. Richard has also been able to work with the UK subsidiaries of large OEM vehicle manufacturers.

Richard trained and qualified within the Big 4 in Cambridge, moving to Reading to work in the Thames Valley region for five years and returning to Cambridge to lead the life sciences and biotechnology sector for another Big4 firm. During his time at RSM he has been able to assist several automotive businesses in the manufacturing sector and continues to remain very close to the sector through our corporate membership of the SMMT.
