Biography
Rob has worked in the Liverpool and North West region for over 30 years focusing almost entirely on owner managed businesses and the not for profit sector. Specialist interest groups are retail, transport, manufacturing and charities. His current role is focused on ensuring that his clients are given an outstanding service and have access to expert advice on accounting, taxation, business and international matters. Rob is also currently studying for the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Diploma.
After training with PWC Rob became a partner with RSM in 2000 and worked in corporate finance and audit before taking on his current client centric advisory role. One project which is of particular interest to Rob is helping clients and local businesses access contacts, and tax efficiently structure their international business activities, in China and the USA. Due to cultural differences many UK businesses feel they lack transparency in their dealings with countries such as China and this leads to hidden costs which can be avoided.
Rob am a Trustee of PSS which is a large Liverpool based care charity.
