Sheetal Sanghvi

Biography

Sheetal leads the Central Region Innovation Reliefs business and is also part of the firm's National Innovation Reliefs Senior Leadership team. Having specialised in this niche area since 2010, she has extensive experience in advising businesses (from start-ups to large corporates) across a range of sectors in making significant R&D and patent box claims. This enables her to have practical discussions with all levels within a business to ensure that claims are fully maximised, whilst also being robust and able to withstand scrutiny from HMRC.

Sheetal represents the firm on the HMRC R&D Communication Forum, a steering group involving members of HMRC, HM Treasury and other stakeholders and have been involved in driving policy, inputting into the drafting of certain HMRC guidance on R&D and engaging with senior members of HMRC on matters of process.

Sheetal focuses on developing strong personal relationships based on trust and ensuring any advice adds real value. She believes the key to a successful business relationship is communication and a complete understanding of the business and future objectives.
