Biography
Simon is a partner in RSM’s employer solutions team. His work encompasses all aspects of employer compliance matters and global mobility, with a particular focus on helping employers develop and deliver employment share schemes and reward plans.
Simon started his career with RSM in the Leeds office in a general tax role before joining the London employer solutions team in 2009. Simon works with clients of all sizes, from fast-growth start-ups to listed international groups.
Simon is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Employment Taxes Committee and the Share Plan Advisors Group, which represents the largest professional services firms when liaising with HMRC.
When asked what gets him out of bed in the morning, Simon answers;
“The thing that motivates me each day is the sheer variety of technical and practical issues our team faces. Whether working with fledgling businesses or those that have been around for decades, there’s always a new challenge to consider and help find a solution for employers.”
When he’s not in the office, Simon can often be found practicing yoga or running, both at an extremely amateur level, or planning a trip to add to his less-nerdy-than-it sounds sports scarf collection.
