Biography
Simon is an indirect tax partner with over 20 years experience in advising clients on a range of VAT issues. In particular, Simon has worked with clients in the real estate, TMT, sports, healthcare and travel sectors. This has involved advising on the complex issues around VAT and property, partial exemption, electronically supplied services, business / non-business issues and the tour operators margin scheme to name but a few.
Prior to joining RSM Simon worked at a Big 4 accountancy firm and prior to that had a short spell with HMRC. Simon also spent a year on secondment at a FTSE 250 business in a global VAT role.
