RSM UK announces North West director promotion to support growth

Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM UK has appointed a new director to strengthen its national and regional financial reporting advisory practice in the North West.

Amelia MacPherson has been appointed financial reporting advisory director in the firm’s Manchester office, working as part of the accounting and financial reporting team. Amelia joined RSM as an associate director in February 2019, after working in various accounting roles for Marks and Spencer, BDO and ITV.

She has more than 12 years’ experience in audit and financial reporting and is an ICAEW chartered accountant, specialising in advising on financial reporting issues, accounting for transactions and corporate reorganisations and supporting with the preparation of financial statements.

Amelia’s promotion follows four North West partner appointments earlier this month, reflecting investment across RSM’’s audit, tax, corporate finance, risk assurance, technology and legal services practices.
