Biography
Flora is a director in our Bristol office within the corporate tax team specialising in tax risk and governance and tax function management. Prior to RSM, Flora was head of tax at a FTSE 250 business.
She has a broad tax knowledge base, having been responsible for all global taxes in her previous role, including US tax and UK corporate tax, VAT and employment taxes. She also has significant practical experience of implementing a full transfer pricing project, acquisitions and group restructuring projects.
Her time as head of tax in a large, fast moving business has given her significant experience in international matters. This also means Flora understands how to move swiftly, speak practically about overseas requirements and get projects delivered efficiently.
Flora holds CTA and ACA qualifications, as well as the Advanced Diploma in International Tax (“ADIT”) for which she studied US tax and transfer pricing as specialist subjects.
"Every business has limited resources, both time and budget. I am passionate about helping businesses spend those resources on the right tax risks and helping them get the most out of their advice. My experience allows me to take a holistic view of the tax function and hone in on key risk areas, while keeping in mind what good looks like, to HMRC and the industry. "
Outside of work, Flora's spare time is taken up by wrangling her two toddlers, who are angelic but a handful. She also enjoy drawing, reading and baking chocolate-filled cakes.
