James Morris

Biography

James is a tax partner with over 16 years’ experience. He leads RSM’s corporate tax business and advises entrepreneurs and their businesses, as well as private equity houses and quoted companies in respect of their tax affairs. His experience covers a range of sectors including manufacturing, retail and technology. It also covers a variety of areas of taxation including M&A, cross border taxation, R&D, capital allowances and corporation tax compliance.

James joined RSM in 2014, having spent 11 years working in the Big 4. During that time, he spent 9 months on secondment in the tax function of a FTSE 100 company. More recently James has been involved in supporting a variety of businesses in acquisitions and disposals, structuring overseas activities, identifying reliefs and managing risk.

James is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Association of Tax Technicians.
