Biography
Jon is a Partner in Risk Assurance and leads our Financial Services Risk Assurance practice. A chartered internal auditor and financial services professional, Jon spends his time providing internal audit and other assurance services to a portfolio of clients that span across the financial services sector.
Jon joined RSM in 2013 when the boutique internal audit company he was leading was acquired by RSM.
When asked what he enjoys about his job, Jon says:
"I like to think of my job as protecting my clients from the things that could go wrong with their business, which could cause their customers or clients harm and cause their business financial or reputational damage. Helping my clients to stay on the right side of regulatory requirements can be a challenge in the ever changing regulatory environment in which they operate, but it’s still an enjoyable part of my job nonetheless."
Outside of work, Jon is married with a son and a daughter and is a keen golfer, although his enthusiasm far outweighs his ability.
Jon’s RSM timeline:
- 2021: joined the Risk Assurance LLP board and became Head of Financial Services Risk Assurance practice
- 2013: joined RSM as Risk Assurance Partner for Yorkshire & the North East and Regional lead for Financial Services Risk Assurance practice
